Wodder helps athletes train balanced.
Voice-first workout logging, AI recovery analysis, and weekly progress reports — all tuned for hybrid athletes who care about every pillar of training, including recovery.
Try Wodder freeWhy "Both" for nearly everything. Combined 660 + 850 nm outperforms single-mode for skin (Wunsch & Matuschka 2014) and muscle recovery (Ferraresi 2016). Single-mode irradiance is roughly half of Both at the same distance — keep that in mind if you switch.
Frequency. 3–5 sessions per week for 4–8 weeks, then 2–3 per week. Don't exceed 20 min in one sitting.
Eye protection. Wear goggles for face/neck sessions — closed lids alone aren't enough at this irradiance. Bare skin only (most fabrics block 90%+ of NIR).
Talk to a clinician first if you're pregnant, have an active malignancy, take photosensitizing meds (tetracyclines, isotretinoin, amiodarone, hydrochlorothiazide, St. John's Wort), have melasma, or have a skin infection in the area.
Distances and durations from Hooga's published HGPRO300 specs (≈109 mW/cm² at 6" in Both; skin 3–10 J/cm², deep tissue 10–50 J/cm²) and peer-reviewed PBM literature. Single-mode dose estimates are modeled, not Hooga-published. Not medical advice.
